Thankfully we seem to have turned the corner to summer. After February we are all grateful for the warm temperatures and abundant sunshine. Even cutting the grass is welcomed compared to shoveling snow and chipping icicles. Enough about the past…it’s time to look forward and plan for the holidays. In the world of stained glass it’s not too early to start on those holiday gifts. Planning and working on projects now takes a lot of stress out of December.

Check out the new schedule and sign up for one of our Christmas in July classes. We have projects planned for both fusing and stained glass. Our fusing Christmas in July class is “past and present,” meaning you can do one of the great projects from past classes or do this year’s project, Christmas ornaments.

Beat the summer heat with a very cool class at The Glass Place...Snowflakes. This class is great for beginners or advanced crafters.  During this two part class we will provide you with snowflake patterns, glass and materials for a snowflake and all of the instruction you will need to start your own collection. These snowflakes make wonderful gifts for teachers, co-workers and grab bags.

Our Fused Jewelry class is another great class to try. This 3 part class teaches you how to make beautiful pieces of jewelry. These pendants are wonderful alone or pair with some great beads or wire wrapping. You don’t have to have any glass cutting or fusing experience for this class and it could be a fun and productive evening out with the girlfriends. Call for details on any of these classes.
